MONDAY: Reflection and Readiness

• 10:00–11:00 – Connecting Service-Learning to Cultural and Community Roots

• 11:00–12:00 – Capstone Rehearsals: Final Presentation Practice

• 1:00–2:00 – Peer-to-Peer Feedback: Sharpening Our Message

• 2:00–3:00 – Journaling: What I’ve Learned About Myself as a Leader

Focus: Students prepare for their capstone with intention, anchoring their reflections in personal and cultural experiences that shaped their leadership development (Simon et al., 2021; Moll et al., 1992).

TUESDAY: Capstone Presentations – Part I

8:30–9:00 – Morning Check-In

9:00–10:00 – Capstone Presentations (Group A: 10–12 small groups, 4–5 students each, 7–10 minutes per group)

10:00–11:00 – Peer and Faculty Feedback Sessions

11:00–12:00 – Community Q&A and Connection with Guests

12:00–1:00 – Lunch Break

1:00–2:00 – Dialogue Circle: What Civic Engagement Means to Me

2:00–3:00 – Peer-Led Reflection: Overcoming Leadership Challenges

✏ Focus: Students publicly affirm their growth as leaders and change agents, engaging with community and faculty to contextualize their service and leadership journeys (Guthrie & Chunoo, 2018).

WEDNESDAY: Capstone Presentations – Part II and Celebration

9:00–10:00 – Capstone Presentations (Group B: 10–12 small groups, 4–5 students each, 7–10 minutes per group)

10:00–11:00 – Final Faculty and Peer Feedback

11:00–12:00 – Lunch Break

1:00–2:00 – Celebration of Milestones and Award Ceremony

2:00–3:00 – Group Reflection: Reclaiming Our Narrative Through Success

✏ Focus: The day honors students' resilience, recognizes their achievements, and celebrates how their lived experiences contributed to their leadership and success (Simon et al., 2021; Cutuli et al., 2021).

THURSDAY: Closure and Forward Thinking

9:00–10:00 – Farewell Circle with Peer and Faculty Mentors

10:00–11:00 – Program Feedback and Exit Interviews

11:00–12:00 – Lunch Break

1:00–2:00 – Letter to My Future Self: Who I Am Becoming

2:00–3:00 – Goodbyes and Gratitude Circle

Focus: Closure activities foster self-awareness and continuity. Students reflect on how their past, present, and future are connected—and honor the people who’ve supported their journey (Grace-Odeleye & Santiago, 2019).

FRIDAY: Final Community Impact

Focus: The final day reinforces the idea that leadership is lived and shared. Students give back, affirming that their knowledge and service matter—both on campus and in their communities (Talebi, 2015; Northouse, 2022).
